Vespa T5 owners will be pleased to see that SIP have had a good quality replacement kickstart manufactured. The original item has been out of production for years and many of the remade ones have been of low quality.
SIP have been careful to make these using high-quality forged aluminium. They’re designed to look like the original version, although the finish is nicer looking that the Piaggio version and there’s no ugly casting seam. SIP have also embossed their logo onto the kickstart in front of the mounting bolt and to ensure they’re suitable for various styles of scooter they will also come in a choice of black, or silver and a variety of styling options.
The kickstarts come complete with rubber, bolt, nut and washers and cost £33.28 (plus VAT, shipping and import duty).
