Pinasco have announced pricing and availability of their new engine casings for the Vespa T5. Usual Pinasco dealers will have them from Monday 24th October 2016.

They are releasing, not only one, but two versions of the casing for 5-port motors.

The \’Master\’ rotary inlet type – a beefed-up version of the Piaggio original with a wider gasket face to increase porting potential – will sell for €729. It is still possible to use the original carb box with this engine. At the moment it is not possible to use the original oil pump though.

There is also a reedvalve \’Slave\’ version using the same dedicated bolt-on reedvalve inlet – with 360-degree carb position – as the 125/150 and 200 versions. This version will retail for €829 including tax.

As usual, both casings come with new rubber silent blocks.

With a decent flywheel side bearing and a wide 5-port gasket face, this T5 casing is especially suitable for motorcycle cylinder conversions.
