Fitting a lightened flywheel can be a great way to boost the performance of a tuned engine. Years ago tuners modified the lightweight PK 50 XL flywheel to fit a PX by altering the keyway. Production of that useful flywheel ended years ago and stock quickly ran out. Now you can buy them again thanks to this remade dual-keyway flywheel.
Remade by SIP Scootershop and available in the UK via VE (UK) the dual keyway flywheel has the same 1.8kg weight as the original PK 50 XL item (lighter than standard PK or PX). It fits both smallframe and PX models without further modification.
The flywheel comes pre-cut with dual keyways, so it fits both the PK, or pre-2011 PX (it doesn’t support electric start but it can still be fitted to electric start PX’s). The flywheel costs £128.34 and is available now from the VE (UK) supermarket. It can also be ordered at your local dealer or by mail order from SIP.

Tried the Beedspeed twin keyway version on my 210 and it wouldnt work with the SiP road 2 pipe..went back to a standard electric start one minus the starter ring.
