Endurance Scooter riders Clémence Couten and Lisa Aleksenko left Paris on Thursday 11th May 2017 on a pair of Peugeot Django scooters, for a 3000 km marathon trip to Casablanca.
The pretty faces of two serious mile munchers
Having previously travelled through the Moroccan desert on the 4L Trophy rally raid and made an 8-month long world tour, these two women adventurers decided to explore the world in a different way.
3000 kilometers | 5 stages | 6 weeks | 3 countries
The route covers 5 stages; Bordeaux, Madrid, Granada, Rabat and Casablanca. Their itenary includes a visit to the Dumay Cognac distillery, cooking lessons in Bordeaux and Madrid, encounters with a designer, a street artist and YouTube star Yassine Jarram.
Peugeot Legend
Based on the legendary Peugeot S55 scooter of 1955, the new Django mixes vintage design with innovations from the Peugeot brand. Equipped with the new fuel-injected Easy Motion engine and SBC (Synchro Braking Concept), which distributes the braking evenly between front and rear wheels. The Django is also endowed with 2 glove boxes, one 12V socket to charge mobile phones, as well as lockable storage bay beneath the seat.
Which Model?
The versions chosen for this trip are two DJANGO EVASION 125i models, with two-tone bodywork pictured here in the Vitamin Orange scheme.
