Pinasco have just released a new 28mm SI carburettor for large frame Vespas. Great news for anybody running a tuned engine who prefers standard induction and wants to allow the scooter to breathe through the frame. It doesn’t work with autolube systems unfortunately, but many tuned scooters ditch the autolube anyway.
The SI-28 ER has a 28mm Venturi, a 5mm higher float bowl and larger channels for better flow. It’s available from VE (UK) and all Pinasco dealers in the UK, worldwide via SIP and all good scooter shops. No prices have been released yet.
