Lee Parker on his GP Lee Parker on his GP

Please give a warm SLUKing welcome to the latest addition to our team; Lee Parker.

After a year of being over-stressed and under-staffed, SLUK has finally grown to the point where we can give some regular work to another fellow scooterist.

Lee Parker – from Nuneaton Pacemakers SC – will be helping us from now on with layouts, articles and advertising. He’s a few articles in to the layout routine and already the photo captions are getting ever stronger and wittier.

Lee coming on board will hopefully give us time to increase our editorial output with more substantial articles.

Who dat den?

If Lee’s face looks familiar it could be because he’s been a regular working the gate for VFM at the Isle of Wight scooter rally. Or it might simply be because you had cheese before going to bed.

Like all of us at SLUK, Lee has his roots in classic scooters – including ownership of a magazine-featured S-type GP – but he’s also open-minded enough to have sampled the benefits of larger capacity modern scooters.

It's time to get some dodgy caption action before Lee takes control of them... It’s time to get some dodgy caption action before Lee takes control of them…

Welcome Lee

We’ve even been reckless enough to give Lee his own e-mail address: Lee so if you fancy proving to him how large and multi-national the SLUK readership is, why not ping him a welcome message?

Tell him what you love about ScooterLab and what you’d like us to do in the future as our magazine and online shop continue to grow and mutate in all sorts of scary ways…

Or send him abuse. He thrives on abuse.
