The Bristol Italian Auto Moto Festival is a success story. This public event in Bristol’s Old City revolves around vintage and modern Italian motor vehicles. The number of scooters, bikes, cars and visitors has virtually exploded over the past twelve years.
On a beautiful spring day Corn Street near Bristol harbour was occupied again with the finest examples that Italian automotive engineering has to offer; Ducatis, Moto Guzzis, Laverdas, AV Agustas, Maseratis, Lamborghinis, Ferraris and even more exotic makes. From aesthetic and rare classics to excessively tuned modern vehicles everything was on show. Of course, Vespas and Lambrettas played a substantial part in it again with the largest contingents of exhibits being displayed by the Bristol Lambretta Club, Company C SC and the Bristol Mod SC.
All in all an event well worth visiting. However, if you intend to come next year do yourself a favour and travel by scooter as the roads are chock-a-bloc and it is almost impossible to park anywhere.
