Unlike most of you work-shy lot*, SLUK worked right through the COVID-19 pandemic and we’re ready for a little break. In fact, whilst you’re reading this over your morning cuppa and cornflakes, we’re out wrestling wild bears, and fighting off the midgies in the Scottish Highlands. 

 

*Disclaimer not including key workers, NHS staff, frontline folks, shop and supermarket staff, posties, lorry and delivery drivers and all the other trades who kept us going through the pandemic/lockdown).

 

We may not physically be here, we will have a couple of big features for you this week and at noon on Tuesday, we’ll have a special announcement from the BSRA about next year’s National rallies. 

 

KR Automation 

 

We’ve got a big two-part feature from Sticky all about some tasty CNC-machined German scooter parts. Vespa lovers can tune in tomorrow to find out about KR Automation, the feature drops onto your mobile/desktop/tablet at 8 am Tuesday. Lambretta fans can mumble under their breath and have a look at 8 am on Wednesday for some billet exotica and fuel-injected trickery.  

 

SLUK Shop

 

Even though we’re busy clinging to mountains and stuff, the shop operates as normal so your orders will be received, processed and sent out by our elves, rather than ourselves. 

 

Emails

 

We’re planning to be as remote as possible during the week, so emails/messages won’t be answered as quickly as usual – with any luck we’ll have no internet or phone connection. Your query is important to us though and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

 

We’re back in the office on Monday 17th of August – providing we’re not ravaged by bears and midgies, or have fallen off something high and rocky (with my track record that’s highly likely).
