There are plenty of good people doing their bit to help the people of Ukraine and many scooterists have already started their own fundraising schemes. Swedish scooterist, Åke Källback decided he needed to do something, so he got in touch with the Vespa Club of Ukraine and was given permission to sell their club stickers.

With permission granted, Åke had some stickers produced and has so far raised over €3,000 for the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. You can check him out on the Swedish Scooter Scene Facebook group.

Alexsandr Zaiko is a member of the Vespa Club of Ukraine and had this to say to Åke “I can say on behalf of the Vespa Club of Ukraine, on behalf of the entire Ukrainian people – we are very grateful to you for your support, we really appreciate your concern and this is very important for our victory.
Now we need any help.
And with your help we will be able to defeat the Russian aggressors and get peace on our land again.
Thank you so much friends and low bow.”
