Moto2/Moto3 lubricants
Liqui Moly is the official lubricant supplier to all Moto2 and Moto3 teams, selected and performance tested by HRC Japan and used exclusively across the two championships. Any help they can give our little scooters will be greatly appreciated.
Developed and manufactured in Germany, the Liqui Moly Shooters additive range targets three key areas: increased performance, improved economy and enhanced engine life.
According to the marketing bumph they work by keeping your fuel system and engine free of harmful and damaging deposits. They also claim to offer better throttle response and performance. A German technical spokesman told us the Speed Shooter was designed to improve performance by increasing the fuels octane levels and has added detergents to clean either the injection system or carburettor, which also helps the engine to receive the optimal fuel/air mixture.

Shooters are a single use 80ml solution designed to be added to the tank when refuelling. They cost £4.99 each and for your average scooter you’ll get two fill ups from one shot. We’ve not tried them out ourselves yet but we will give them a shot (pardon the pun) this season.
