Daughter of a scooterist family, Olivia Campbell, was tragically murdered in the recent Manchester suicide bombing.
Gernerous scooterists have ensured that the £6,000 target for her funeral costs have been well and truly exceeded with the Just Giving campaign now at £10,843. The funding page will be closing on Monday 12th June so if you’d still like to donate do so before then.
Family friend, Howard Patient passed on the following message far anyone interested in attending her funeral by scooter:
“On behalf of Charlotte and Paul, mother and stepfather of Olivia Campbell we thank all our wider scooter family for your contributions to Olivia’s funeral fund, messages of support and fundraising on both Olivia’s and the other victims of the Manchester attack funds. You are all our familly. I’m sure if you watched TV last week you would of heard Paul saying he had two families; both his own and the scootering family. We can now lay our little angel Olivia to rest, the details are as follows: Olivia’s Funeral will be held at 1.30 on Tuesday 20th June at St. Anne’s Church, Chapel Street, Bury, BL8 4AP and then at 2pm at Radcliffe Crematorium, Cemetery Rd, Radcliffe, M26 4EU. Please, if you want to come, you can send up to two representatives of your scooter club to the church at 1.30 to escort Olivia to the crematorium; this is only because we are expecting high numbers. Can all other members of your clubs please go to Radcliffe Crem to create a guard of honour for Olivia as we ride in. A short service will be held at the crematorium then on to Bury football club for refreshments after. Please wear blue and bright colours to help celebrate Olivia’s life. A collection will be held for the music room at Olivia’s school. Once again, thank you on behalf of the family x”
