Here\’s the latest news from MB Scooters about the long-awaited replacement RT – Race Tour kit pistons. 

 

 

BGM and MB Scooters Ltd have announced the arrival of the long-awaited Italian Meteor cast piston port pistons. The new pistons are an upgrade to the original forged pistons supplied with the BGM 195 and 225 Race-Tour kits. Some of the original pistons suffered from ring peg failure.

 

Here\’s what you need to know

 

  • If you\’re waiting for a replacement kit, these will be dealt with in the next few weeks.
  • If you\’re worried that your piston MAY go wrong – MB are offering an exchange piston – OLD for NEW at half price (£55.720.
  • If you have a new unused piston, a NEW for NEW direct swap  is being offered free of charge.
  • If you don’t want to swap your piston, MB/BGM are still offering a limited warranty if the early piston fails at a later date.

 

MB Scooters Ltd are only offering this service to genuine customers who have bought a kit direct from them. If not you need to contact your original supplier.
