Bodykits
Italian tuning company Parmakit weren’t to be left out in Milan. First up are their new Vespa bodykits and screens. The rear bodywork is a quick-release one-piece design and come in a choice of ‘wide’ style suitable for Quatrini engines and a ‘slim’ style for standard type engines. They’re designed for racing but no doubt we’ll see a few trick and very light smallies on the road next summer. Screens, mudguard and horncast are also available.
Cylinder kits
Parmakit also unveiled their 125cc 55mm diameter W-Force kit, a road-going learner legal kit. They also have a GT66 kit with 51 stroke crank and 110mm rod, which gives 175cc, both for smallframe applications. The third new Parmakit top end is a 200cc kit for the PX125, with 66mm bore in a choice of liquid or air-cooled varieties.
