SLUK took a quick ride out to Santa Pod at the weekend for the scooter sprinting. Quite a few new machines on the track. From the classic field, Eric Cope was out on his new Darrell Taylor-prepared Super Monza engine, clocking an impressive 13.3 seconds at 97.7mph on his full-frame road GP. From the automatics Adam Chaplin’s low-rider Typhoon/Runner hybrid clocked a massive 12.1 seconds and a 103mph terminal speed…
