Listen up petrol heads, if you fancy something a little bit different you’d better get yourself to Petrol & Pistons at Croft Circuit, Teeside on Sunday August 21st. For starters, the first 200 scooter riders will get a free patch (pictured above), there will also be a ridden custom show with great prizes and there will be six scooter races from the BSSO scooter racing championships out on the track.
Tickets just £8
BSSO racer, Andy Barnes also runs a few very successful car events, including the highly coveted MSA Time Attack Championships. Round 5 will be held at Petrol & Pistons so expect to see retro, modern and race cars up to 1100bhp battling it out to get the fastest lap. When Andy heard a BSSO round had to be cancelled he quickly stepped in to offer to run the meeting as a support class at his Croft show. For just £8 in advance or £10 on the gate you’ll get a full day of 2, 3 and 4 wheeled tyre-smoking action both on and off the track.
A full day of events with cheaper entry than spectating at a race meeting!
Six BSSO scooter races
The BSSO will run a practice session followed by 3 geared and 3 auto races throughout the day. There will also be plenty to see off the track as well. Full details of the car based attractions and advance ticket details can be found on the Petrol & Pistons page.

If you’d like to show off your scooters in front of a different type of crowd to your usual scooter rally-goers bring them along. There will be a ridden custom show. Full class details and an online entry form can be found at: Petrol & Pistons or you can enter on the day if you prefer.
