A big wheeled scooter is much better at coping with our pot hole littered roads than a smaller wheeled machine so it’s a good time for the Peugeot Belville to arrive in UK dealerships.
Named after the famous district of Paris, the Belville is available in 125cc and 200cc versions. The 125 uses the latest liquid-cooled SmartMotion® engine. The engine boasts Low Friction Efficiency (LFE) and Alternative Current Generator (ACG) management, for high performance, low emissions and fuel economy of up to 113mpg. The 200 uses a high-torque air-cooled version of the SmartMotion® engine.
Both scooters come with an LED headlight and signature “Triple claw” daytime running tail light. There’s space for a full-faced helmet beneath the seat, plus there’s a lockable glovebox complete with USB point and the Allure version also comes with a 37-litre top box as standard. Both scooters also have a 260mm front disc brake and ABS as standard, the 125 has a 220mm rear disc, whilst the 200 gets a slightly larger 240mm rear disc. The Peugeot Belville 125 Allure and Sporty RS versions are available from all Peugeot dealers, priced at £3099. The 200i costs £100 more. Both are covered by Peugeot’s 24-month warranty.
