In a little over two weeks, thousands of scooterists will be heading to the Isle of Wight. It’ll be the largest gathering of scooters and scooterists since August Bank Holiday 2019. The organisers are hoping all their hard work and effort to make sure that not only is the rally on, but that this year’s Isle of Wight International Scooter Rally is new and exciting as well.
They want to make it the biggest event for years but they need your help, especially if you own a tasty scooter.
The prestigious IOW custom show is the pinnacle of the regular show circuit so let’s make it massive! There must be plenty of lockdown builds that have never been seen, whether they’re home built in a shed with lots of clever engineering, or full-on custom scooters – the isle of Wight custom show needs you!
How to enter
SLUK will be sponsoring the ‘Champion of Champions’ trophy and giving a ScooterLab t-shirt and a cash prize so if you’ve already won at the Isle of Wight in the past that class is open to you. Of course, there will be plenty more trophies up for grabs plus you’ll have the adulation of the crowds to look forward to. To enter you can drop VFM an email at vfmshows@yahoo.co.uk entries will also be accepted on the day so if you’re not sure if your build will be finished in time you can always just rock up and park your still smoking steed amongst some of the finest scooters in the country.
