The iconic Italjet Dragster is back, restyled and reborn for the 21st century. Here’s the first photos live from EICMA in Milan, where we had a chat with Massimo Tartarini, Managing Director of Italjet. We’ll bring you video of the interview later where he tells us all we need to know, including the expected delivery date and interchangeability of parts from the original classic machine. One thing is for sure, it may not look like the original in many respects but it’s bustling with Italian style and the originality that made the original Dragster such an iconic scooter.

  • Capacity: 125/200
  • Engine: 4-Valve Aprilia derived
  • Availability: May 2019
  • Price: €4.800 200cc €4500 125cc

The 200cc engine units look very much like the Chinese version of the Aprilia/Rotax engine used for the BMW C1 and currently fitted to the Scomadi 200. If the 125 is also water-cooled it will probably be a smaller capacity version of the same engine.

New products always in development…
