If you want to fit one of the big-bore smallframe kits with a 60mm diameter piston it normally means quite a lot of grinding and machining that is not always easy for a home-mechanic to manage.
As a solution Parmakit are now offering Vespa smallframe engine casings that are pre-machined by boring the spigot and opening the transfer passages by CNC to match their cylinder kits.
The public price for these is estimated to be around 500 Euros.

Parmakit reedvalve manifolds
For smallframe freaks who still want to use reedvalve on the crankcase, Parmakit have released two new reedvalve inlet manifolds to suit carb sizes of 24/30/36mm carbs. One of the manifolds is for conventionally mounted cylinders while the other suits engines with a reversed barrel and downwards-facing exhaust manifold.
