EICMA: Yamaha TMAX 560 for 2020 | NEWS

Yamaha chose to reveal their 2020 model line up in Milan two days before EICMA officially opens tomorrow 4th November. For us the star of their range is the updated, upgraded and restyled Yamaha TMAX 560. That’s right, the model gets a power and capacity hike for 2020. With an extra 3.5% (46.9bhp) on tap from the twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine it should be even more fun to ride.

The TMAX is big business in Europe, Yamaha have sold over 275,000 of them since its inception in 2001 and this latest update won’t harm sales for sure. It’s been redesigned pretty much from the ground up and the model options have dropped from three down to two, the base model and Tech Max. The latter is the all-singing version with, electric screen, heated seat and grips, cruise control, adjustable suspension, MyTMAX connectivity, gold forks and wheels. It comes in Tech Kamo grey and will be in dealers before Christmas. Traditionally the UK doesn’t get the top spec model (we don’t sell too many) but hopefully, we’ll be getting our hands on the Tech Max.

SLUK will be at the show tomorrow and European launch in two weeks time so we’ll bring you all the info you need then, so watch this space…
