The production-ready machines will be hand-built to order in the Czech Republic to celebrate the firms 60th anniversary year. The order books opened on March 1st 2017 and will close on 31st March 2018. Only 600 of the scooters will be built and if the scooters look as good in real life as they do in the photos they’ll be a collectors item of the future.
Built your way
Each Cezeta can be customised online prior to ordering, customers can choose between two different motors and choose to either buy the battery outright or lease one.
There’s a multitude of colour options (10 in total) for both the bodywork and seat. You can also choose to add a screen (£150), whitewall tyres (£100), bluetooth speaker system (£190), adaptive headlights (£700) and an alarm (£670).
Cezeta Sway throttle
One unique feature to the Cezeta is their Sway two-way throttle, said to give exceptional control under braking. Most electric scooters are very snatchy during slow speed work so hopefully this will sort that problem out. It also has KERS – Kinetic Energy Recovery System to provide up to 15% extra power from regenerative braking.
Prices
Prices for the 506/01 model with an 85kmh top speed and range of 80-100km starts at £9370 (if you’re buying the battery), or £7700 if you prefer to lease one. The higher spec 506/02 model has a 120kmh top speed and a range of 120-150km, that one costs £11760 (if you buy the battery), or £9540 if you lease one.

Fantastic! Or Dan Dare Tastic?
I want one that makes that flying scooter sound from cartoons like the Jetsons or Futurama.
You could have a fake exhaust pipe that is a digital amp and speaker linked to speed that changes the frequency of the sound the faster you go. Any “exhaust” or engine sound you like!
Looking at the ECezeta I think an old Steam Engine sound would suit it….chuf chuf chuf chuf woo wooo! Ha ha!
