X-Town is the Euro 4 evolution of Kymco\’s fantastic Downtown model. It will be available as both a 125cc and 300cc when it arrives in dealers in April. We loved the Downtown but there have been some significant changes to turn it into the X-Town…
Aesthetics
The bodywork has been redesigned so it\’s now noticeably slimmer, more angular and has sharper lines, giving it a modern look. The redesigned chassis and bodywork have allowed increased storage space too, it\’s claimed to fit two full-face helmets beneath the generous seat.
It also boasts new alloy wheels and an LCD dashboard with distinctive white facia. The scooter also has plenty of chrome detailing, a leather seat, aggressive looking LED headlights and a new very noticeable \’X\’ LED taillight.
Euro 4
The liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engines meet Euro 4 and give a true 125cc – or 276cc for the 300 model – with top speeds of 65mph and 75mph respectively.
Braking on the 125cc is CBS – Combined Braking System – whilst the 300 sports Bosch ABS.
Availability
The X-Town 125i CBS and X-Town 300i ABS are available to order from Kymco dealers, with the 125c coming in a Mercury colour-way and the 300cc in Matt Black. Prices
As with all Kymco machines, the X-Town comes with a 2-year manufacturers’ warranty.
