Yamaha TMAX owners looking for a bit of extra performance will be pleased to hear about the new Malossi K-Drive system which allows fine-tuning of the gearing by using a range of different crown and pinion gears to adjust the final ratio.
Malossi K-Drive: £240.54 (pinion gears £225.82)
Manufactured from hardened aluminium to reduce weight and increase the products service life the crown gears are available in 56,57 and 58 tooth gears. The pinion gears are also made from hardened aluminium and are available in 24, 27, 28 and 29 tooth versions. The final drive can be altered from the standard 2.269:1 to 1.931:1.
Malossi torque driver: £205.30
There are plenty of other tuning products available for the TMAX, including the Malossi torque driver is designed with recalculated pivot grooves to provide a consistent transmission load throughout the rev range. This helps to minimise the power dip during acceleration. It’s highly recommended to fit the torque driver along with a Malossi variator and Kevlar belt to enable the best performance.
