The bods at RLC/Casa Performance are “Going into overdrive” producing parts for the smallframe Lambretta models. Destined for the J Range and Lui, Vega and Cometa models, these parts include both an all-new 140cc cylinder kit and a lot of new transmission components.
VIDEO | J Range 140 kit development
As seen exclusively in the accompanying SLUK video (above). We got to see the new 140cc kit in its embryonic 3-D plastic printed stage and we also know that the boys are currently working on their 4-speed gearboxes for all the 3-speed models, and 5-speed gearboxes for the 4-speed models.

New 3-speed gear cluster
The Casa 75cc kit is a best seller with a specific exhaust and carb kit having been designed to complement the conversion. The proverbial fly in the ointment has always been the gearbox, as original 50cc gearing is all over the shop with 1st and 3rd being far too short and all improvements you might have made elsewhere in your motor end up making minimal improvement thanks to the awful original gearing ratios. Therefore to get the ball rolling for their Lambretta smallframe parts, Casa Performance have just released the 3-speed cluster you see here, which is designed for later production J50 models and all Lui 50cc models.

Finely meshed
The beauty of this cluster is that it is designed to mesh directly with the original Innocenti 58-53-46 loose gearbox cogs already found in these models, thus enabling you to obtain perfect gearing but without having to incur the cost of having to change a whole gearbox.
This cluster can also be used with original, non-tuned 50cc machines and gearing ratios are again greatly improved. Casa Performance also produce several non-original oversize front sprockets (both cush-drive and non-cush-drive types) giving unprecedented gearing options for J and Luna line machines

Price & availability
Made from reinforced steel, the cluster (code: X168) is a plug ‘n’ play part and costs Euro 110/GBP £96 incl. VAT. It can be ordered directly from RLC or from any Casa Performance dealer worldwide.
