kovix alarm lever lock
Us scooter owners often find it a struggle to use a disc lock thanks to our small wheels and the close proximity of the front disc (that’s if we have a disc brake at all). This new metal-bodied 120dB Kovix alarmed brake lever/throttle lock might just be a good addition to your existing security.

Some of the plastic-bodied lever locks are pretty useless and can be removed quite easily so hopefully the “Robust” zinc/steel alloy construction of this one will be harder to defeat. As will the heavy-duty steel anti-pick lock barrel.

The Kovix lock has a built-in 120dB alarm that is triggered by shock or movement, the alarm can also be turned off by the owner when not in use. The lock is easier to carry around than a U-lock, and less hassle to fit than a disc lock so there’s no excuse for not keeping it with you AND using it. We always recommend you use a decent quality lock and chain as well to secure your scooter.

How much and where from?

The lock is available as part of The Key Collection. It comes in a choice of red or blue, should be suitable for all scooters (and motorcycles) and costs £94.99. You can find your nearest stockist here.
