Just four days after the commemorative plaque (pictured above) celebrating the 40th anniversary of Quadrophenia was unveiled on Brighton\’s iconic pier it\’s been lifted. It\’s gone, vanished, disappeared. The plaque was unveiled during a star-studded event in Brighton during the August Bank Holiday weekend but sadly it looks as though some souvenir hunting mod has taken it home with him (or her).
