It’s good news for the economy, shop owners, staff and customers, as bike and scooter shops in England will be allowed to reopen from Monday 1st June. There was only mention of car dealerships in the recent COVID-19 daily briefing, which lead to confusion but the MCIA has since clarified the situation.
Scotland, Ireland and Wales have their own regulations though so the ruling only applies to England for the time being. The reopening will tie in nicely with an MCIA lead ‘Industry reboot’ campaign that starts on June 3rd in an effort to get the bike and scooter market moving again to help businesses get back on their feet.
SLUK thanks you for your support during these tricky months
From AF Rayspeed: when we do open again there will be a number of restrictions in place and Ben will have to go through the list of work that has to be rescheduled, bear with us and hopefully will be in touch soon.
