If you ride a tuned Vespa with a fuel pump you’ll no doubt have tried fashioning a bracket to fit the pump, or bodging the pump on to the scooter somewhere. I know I have on a couple of mine and Blue Peter would have made a better job of it. Thankfully Big Dave Hampson at Scooter Trumps has come to the rescue with these rather neat aluminium pump brackets.
The universal pump bracket is designed to suit the popular types of vacuum pump, Mikuni, Dellorto, Rotax etc. The bracket comes pre-drilled and tapped with five holes (just use the ones that suit your type of pump), and fixes to the engine using the top flywheel bolt hole. It also comes with a set of stainless steel fasteners and washers, one of them replaces the original flywheel bolt.

The pump bracket costs £25 including P&P from Dave. It looks great, and works a treat. Amongst other things, Dave also makes and sells the original large-capacity Vespa PX tanks. You can find him on his stall at most large rallies or contact him by email at: scootertrumps@hotmail.co.uk or on Facebook at Scooter Trumps
