SLUK is looking for some new writing talent to provide a new angle on the IoW rally. If you think you could be that person, then there’s a Sena Prism helmet cam (worth £200) to be won.
To be in with a shout tell us:
- Your plans for the rally,
- What you are going to ride
- How you’d spice it up from the traditional ‘diary’ format.
We are up for something different, funny and maybe not so long. On SLUK the photos tell much of the story and we’ve got that side of it covered, but if you can do some photos yourself then all the better.
SLUK is obviously a web magazine so we need the article turning around quite quickly. These days people don’t want to wait weeks anymore for a review.
We need our new roving reporter to be digital-savvy and ideally be able to get us the article by a newfangled thing called email, but if you are used to working on blogs or websites that will help.
In truth, Iggy was going to cover the rally, but following a failed attempt to jump the Grand Canyon he has injured himself and set back his stunt-riding career considerably.
Due to the proximity of the rally we need to sort this out quickly, so entries close at 5pm on Monday 22nd August. Send us an email to editorial@scooterlab.uk
If you don’t fancy it but know of a scooterist who might fit the bill, please share this article with them.

Sena Prism?
Sena Prism is our choice of helmet cam at SLUK because of its ability to connect to a Bluetooth intercom so you can record your thoughts as you ride.
With video being an integral part of what we do at SLUK it’s a great tool and with such a pocket-friendly format this camera is also great for video round a campsite, short interviews or even at night.
If you fancy shooting some video at IoW then fab, but no obligation. If you win it, just enjoy it.
This is the sort of stuff you can do with a Sena Prism & bluetooth intercom
