Kettering based Team Replay Racing will be missing the BSSO season finale at Cadwell Park this weekend. Earlier today we spoke to Chalky White and Jon Gilbert as they headed towards Italy where Darren Conneely will pilot the Casa-powered Team Replay Lambretta. The team have been invited to take part in the final round of the coveted Italian Polini Cup Championship, alongside the best scooter racers in Italy, including the Italian Casa Performance Team.
Speaking from the comfort of the team van, Chalky asked us to wish all the BSSO competitors a safe and enjoyable weekend at Cadwell Park. He also said, “We’ve always wanted to do the Polini Cup so when we got the chance we jumped at it”. Jon said, “We’re not expecting to go out there and win but we’re looking forward to a great weekend.”

The Lincolnshire track should be bathed in autumnal sunshine this weekend and their promises to be some spectacular racing, followed by a Saturday night party so it’s worth taking the tent and making a weekend of it. Tickets cost £16 on the gate and you can check out the event programme here.
