Back in February 2021 we shared news of the first Lambretta Chopper charity book, a book conceived, written and put together by ordinary Lambretta chopper riders. A book that would quickly sell out and raise almost £11,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust in the process.
Well, those lads from UK Lambretta Choppers have done it again. Lambretta Chopper Book 2 is at the printers and will be bigger and badder than the first book with a whopping 320 pages featuring 92 chops. Aside from personalised colour spreads of some crazy metalwork the book also features sections from fabricators from the 1970s to present day – giving an insight into the craft of turning a perfectly good Lambretta into a work of art (depending on how you view chops of course!).
This book will also feature stories from builders, riders and iconic names from chopper history. Including Exile Cycles Russ Mitchell for instance, Sticky will also share his inspiring tale of chopped up tomfoolery, custom builder Madness (Madspeed Performance) and Pete Merchant (Solely Scooters) are another two names to share their stories.
Of course, this book will be sold with ALL proceeds going to Teenage Cancer Trust via The Oddballs Scooter Rally. In the book, the man behind it, Vince Wooloff tells you why Oddballs came about and why he chose that particular charity.
The final section of the book will be in the memory of Matthew ‘Tik’ Tester, a well known, respected and sadly missed member of the scooter family who died tragically. Tik’s wife and family have compiled a 10-page tribute to their husband and father.
