Well established, UK Kymco importer and distributor, MASCO have gone into administration as of midday yesterday, 04/07/17. The company, based near Shrewsbury were the sole UK importer for the Taiwanese brand.
As we write this we have no further information but will bring an update as soon as we get it. On a personal level we\’ve dealt with MASCO for the last 15 years and it\’s sad to lose such a great and caring importer. MASCO was run by the always jovial and down-to-earth Managing Director, Ian Kidson and was backed up by a good team.

On a standard email auto reply, Ian Kidson said \”It is with sincere regret that I have to inform you that we have ceased trading as of midday today – 04.07.17. For information regarding the liquidation process, please contact Damian Joseph at Moorfields on 0207 1861159.\”
The future for Kymco in the UK
Kymco are a solid, respected company producing many good scooters. At the moment it looks highly likely that another importer will be found for the Taiwanese brand, offering continued support for both dealers and customers alike. We\’ll update on www.scooterlab.uk as soon as we know more.
