We here at SLUK absolutely love the bonkers creations produced by Indonesian scooterists using old Vespa parts as a method of one-upmanship.
The cult of ‘Vespa Extreme’ has seen some of the most inventive and crazy engineering that makes any Lambretta chopper look tame by comparison.
So far we’ve seen Vespas that look like they are riding backwards, extreme elevated Vespas and the latest trend appears to be to make them as long as possible with as many wheels, engines and bald tyres as you can find.
However, there comes a point where they simply become too extreme, as you can see in the following videos…
I’m full of admiration for these mechanical artists. One of those creations should be on permanent exibition in Pontedera.
