There’s nothing better than building an engine into fresh new casings, these new Vespa small frame casings from VE (UK) will give you a fresh, clean start. The casings are suitable for V50/V90/V100/125 Primavera and also fit PK-S with 2-stud inlet and 47mm flywheel bearing. There’s a 3-stud version also available.
Standard or tuned?
Although the transfer and inlet ports stick to the original dimensions there’s lots of scope for further tuning. That’s thanks to some extra meat on the casings, which means you can port them without the need for additional welding. The openings for the casing bolts on the lower half have also been relocated externally to allow further enlargement. This gives you the option to use a crank with larger webs/increased stroke if needed.
