For the less observant amongst you, there’s a new ‘Shop’ menu item to explore on the top right of your screen. Click it and you’re instantly transported to a magical parallel universe. A place where at the touch of a button you can own some of our coveted SLUK merchandise, like our ultra-bright reflective jackets (pictured above – just in case you missed it), or our cool t-shirts.
We were overwhelmed with orders when the store went live last week, and our meagre stock of t-shirts were soon snapped up. If you back ordered one of the more popular sizes we’ll get them posted out to you as soon as our printer recovers from Woolacombe. Similarly with the jackets, they’ll be printed this week once our supplier recovers from his hectic northern soul weekender.
As with everything on SLUK, our shop is run by scooter riders, just like you. Our branded products are printed and supplied by scooter riders. We’re not owned by some stuffy media house or bean-counting accountant.
Ladies t-shirts
Don’t panic girls, we have some ladies t-shirts on order so you won’t be left out. The design above is the first of them, printed on flattering ladies cut Gildan Ultras they’ll be available in sizes from svelte and waif like to rotund & cuddly. Our first design uses the simple but effective ScooterLab atomic logo, with ScooterLab printed on the sleeve. They will be available the first week in October.
Spanner’s Guide
We’re not just retailing SLUK merchandise though, we also have a few other goodies lined up. Like Sticky’s best-selling Complete Spanner’s manual for instance. This book is THE book any Lambretta owner should have. It covers most of the popular Lambretta models and includes everything you need to know about owning and building one, as well as advice on kits, tuning and aftermarket parts.
Coast to Coast screens
The popular ‘Coast to Coast’ screen will also be available soon, originally conceived by Sticky and manufactured by another scooter enthusiast in the midlands, the screen has just been redesigned for better fitment and will appear in the shop soon.
TomTom – coming soon
There’s more to come as well. We’re also going to be selling certain hand-picked items that we trust and have either tested or would use ourselves. Like the TomTom Rider and Vio. If you’re thinking about treating yourself to one maybe hold fire for a while. We’ll be drop-shipping these items on behalf of the manufacturers/distributors. You buy them from us and your order goes direct to the manufacturer to be shipped out. You get the same manufacturers warranty and consumer rights as you would buying anywhere else, but your purchase will help us to keep doing what we do.

Why buy from SLUK?
Keeping SLUK fresh and up-to-date is a full-time job for us but because it’s free for you to read it doesn’t provide a full-time wage for the two of us. We try to keep our adverts to a minimum so that they don’t spoil the site and we only allow advertisers who sell scooter-related products.
We won’t sell advertising space to smutty sex lines, ambulance chasers or fly-by-night rip-you-off merchants. Instead we’re hoping that by you buying from our SLUK shop and by wearing our merchandise it will help us to keep on providing you with a daily dose of top quality scooter based content.

Hello, unfortunately not. You could have it sprayed in chrome paint though, some of those are quite effective these days.
