x6h casa

Sometimes the simplest ideas are also the smartest. We’ve all used the double nut technique or spent money on a decent stud extractor tool. Well, those clever bods at Rimini Lambretta Centre/Casa Performance have released a set of Lambretta studs with flat edges to be used with a 7mm spanner.

Casa Performance has just released their take on cylinder studs. These studs are particular in that they have two opposing, recessed flat edges to take a 7mm spanner. This makes them much easier to fit than conventional studs, either compared with the double-nut method or with a stud fitting tool. Simply use an open-ended 7mm spanner to wind them into place, with no fuss or messing about. They are made in high tensile steel and are also surface treated making them extremely resistant indeed.

Each stud is about 5 threads longer than an equivalent standard length stud therefore also making them perfect for certain tuning kits such as TS1, SS, RB etc. As is the norm for all CP products, the lads have been testing these now for over a year, in all manner of engine configurations from bog standard LIs through to race tuned SS225 motors and the results have been excellent. The pictures speak for themselves and the Casa Performance code is X6h.

They cost Euro 18.00 for a set of 4 studs (about GBP £16 in real money) and can be purchased either directly from Rimini Lambretta Centre, or through any Casa Performance dealer worldwide. More info HERE.
