Ahead of tomorrow\’s launch at the Bangkok Motor Show SLUK are the first to reveal what Scomadi\’s new TT200 looks like thanks to some \’spy shots\’ direct from the new factory in Thailand.

Legshields, floor runners and sidepanels are now all made from steel. The lower headset is cast aluminium.

Slimstyle-style

These are the first shots of the new Scomadi Turismo Technica 200 as it rolls off the production line in Thailand.

Styling is very \’slimstyle\’ now, thanks to panels and headset reminiscent of the Lambretta SX150.

The 200\’s engine is the same Rotax-based unit that SLUK were first to test but it now has a new solution for radiator placement in a dedicated belly-pan. Emissions output has also been reduced to comply with Euro4 regulations.

Also new are:

  • Pirelli Evo 21 tyres fitted as standard to the 200 (IRC tyres on the 125) on 5-spoke cast wheels.
  • New \’Plushride\’ suspension
  • Full Bosch ABS (Anti-lock Brake System)
  • New digital speedometer

So far there\’s no launch date announced for the European market, but a Euro4 version is already under test for homologation which suggests that stock is not too far off.

In the mean-time, our SLUK mad scientists have just developed this spiffing screen for the TL models and we\’ll no doubt be doing one to suit the new TT as well.
