sticky underdog

Sunday 1st September is a date to pencil in your diaries. Scooter racer, Keith Terry is gauging support for a one-day six-hour endurance event to be held in the northeast. Unusually in this world of health and safety/cotton wool wrapping, the event will be open to ALL riders with a full road licence and a full-bodied road or race scooter. That’s right, you don’t need a race licence to take part.

The endurance race will consist of a two-hour practice session followed by the six-hour race. It’s open to teams of three or four riders and will cost around £230-250 per team, giving loads of track time and great value for money. Keith said “I have spoken with the circuit owner today and had nothing but positive vibes. Le Mans style start maybe?”

Keith is asking for all interested parties to email to register their interest. If he gets enough support more details will be released in due course. You can email Keith at: bsecuk@outlook.com

Team SLUK

I might just dust off my vintage leathers and have a wobble around for this one. We’re already trying to decide what to ride and who will be in the SLUK dream team but if you have a scooter we can use, or a team we can be a part of get in touch at: Editorial@Scooterlab.UK
