The countdown clock has done it’s job and the competition has ended, we have a clear winner and the ‘Just for fun’ contest did exactly what we wanted it to do.

120 entrants
Thanks to everybody who helped to trial our new-fangled photo competition out. We had very few issues, which is always good news and we also got swamped with entries. We ended up with almost 120! Not bad going for a ‘fun’ competition.

It’s good to share
We’re going to tweak a few things but we’ll be back with a real competition in the near future. Even though this was just a tester we still have to have a winner.
The scooter voted for the most was the one above, Warriors. It got 65 votes and 172 shares so well played that man (or lady, as it turns out). If the owner would like to get in touch we’ll send you a SLUK shirt and some stickers. For the rest of you losers, thanks for getting involved and here’s a clue for the next ‘real’ competition…
We’re looking at scooter memorabilia. Start digging your prized possessions out…

Actually guys, more like well played that woman!!
Tell us more Bev – also fixed the text 🙂
The scooter belongs to me and I am not a man 🙂
I got that far. I meant tell us more about the scooter 🙂
LOL!! Okay, Scooter was built by my husband Tony Daynes, It is a GP200 with a TS1 kit, MB Race tour piston, Yahama reed block, 35mm Mikuni carb, Dev-tour stainless exhaust, electronic ignition kit, pacemaker gear box with 18/47 primaries & AF cassette clutch.
Base paint is Harley Davidson puple with blue mirrorflake, painted by Toontown pain in New Jersey USA.
Murals were all painted by Jonathon Pantaleon.
Seat & Spare wheel cover done by Jay at Pirate Upholstery.
The Warriors back patches on spare wheel cover were found on ebay.
Photo was taken by my friend Adam Lerner at The Wonder Wheel on Coney Island.
Good to see you’re still scootering over there Bev, we’ll look forward to seeing more of the scooter.
Cheers Iggy!
