Take this picture sent in by Rod Barretta from Australia. Rod is currently building a KTM 390 powered Lambretta hybrid, whilst wearing a Spanish hat after being inspired by this SLUK feature scooter. I’m not sure we can give you a T-shirt for that Rod but we’d like to see the scooter once it’s finished.

Tent tip – or from the tip?
Hi SLUK team, I thought you might like this tip. Old tent carry bags are ideal for transporting any gear to a rally and keeping it dry, it also looks better than the old black plastic bin liner often used. When you’ve unpacked, the tent bag can then be used overnight to place on your scooter seat, keeping it dry from rain or morning condensation. Just place it over the seat upside down with the zip towards the front, then do the zip up as far as it will go to keep it secure. Even if you are lucky enough to miss the rain on your long ride home, having a soggy seat from the day before is not pleasant.
What with people throwing their tents away at rallies and festivals after one use, it’s easy to pick a few up when you take your rubbish to the bins before going home.
