Can I tune an LML Star 200?

 

If you want a scooter with gears then currently the biggest capacity offering is LML\’s Star 200 4-stroke. Performance isn\’t bad but can be improved massively with the fitting of a kit. Here, the guys from Readspeed fit a Polini kit, carb and exhaust and show the performance difference on the dyno. 

 

Parts fitted:

 

  • Polini 220 kit
  • Polini carb kit
  • Polini exhaust
  • Readspeed de-restricted CDI to allow the engine to rev higher without hitting the rev limiter.

 

What are the results?

 

The kit adds around 40% more power and 5-10mph more top speed. Well worth having.
