The Brits have fought back against their German rivals as the opposing sides continue to play around with their respective Quattrini small block Lambretta engines. Over the weekend Chiselspeed have sent us this video and a Dyno of their tuned small block engine. Power has increased to a very healthy 32.5bhp and 20ft lb of torque, figures we couldn’t even imagine seeing from a road going small block engine a few years ago. Those figures were helped by the use of a 60mm crank, some welding to the transfer areas and a higher-revving CST 11 exhaust, plus a few two stroke secrets.
You can check out the original 24bhp ‘bolt on’ Chiselspeed Quattrini demo scooter and road test we reported on before Christmas here).
