Octogenarian scootering celebrity, Chuck Swonnell has had his well-known Series 2 Lambretta TV 175 stolen from his drive in London. The Lambretta has been owned by Chuck from new and is a familiar sight on the rallies at home and abroad.
Chuck received a visit from somebody at his London home yesterday, the man asked if the scooter was for sale and said he was from the Peterborough area. As anybody who knows him will know, Chuck would never part with it.
The scooter was locked and covered on Chuck\’s drive but disappeared between 5pm last night and 1pm this afternoon.

Too many stories like this recently. Makes my blood run cold. Could really do with an up-to-date version of the National Stolen Scooter Registry https://www.ilambretta.co.uk/NSSR/ that sits on the LCGB site… doesn’t look like it’s been updated recently though.

really hope chuck gets back his pride and joy . I know what its like to have one nicked and how much it gets your blood boiling , but this is terrible as hes owned this scooter from new and its done some miles and memories for such a lovely man .
