As many of you will of heard, (or seen in the sensationalist press) over the weekend, a tragic incident occurred during the annual Modrapheniacs Scooter Club rally at Sandford in Dorset.

 

Below is a brief statement on behalf of the Modrapheniacs. Please don\’t get involved in social media posts about the incident, don\’t share any newspaper reports or comment, other than to add a comment as a mark of respect. 

 

A statement by the Modrapheniacs 

 

On behalf of the Modrapheniacs Scooter Club, I would just like to say how very saddened and shocked we were by the incident that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning at our annual rally.

Our thoughts are with the families at this difficult time.
I have spoken to representatives of the club involved and they are supportive of the way the situation was and is being dealt with.


We will be holding a committee meeting on Wednesday evening 09/03/16 and will not comment further more on the situation until we have spoken to the club again and/or the Police and family.


Please respect the family, the Police investigation and the scooter club involved.
