Southend based JB Tuning’s open day was hailed a success last weekend, despite a last-minute rush to rebuild their Casa 265 demonstrator on Friday afternoon after JB owner, John Balcomb pranged it and had to get parts hastily resprayed. Miserable weather also failed to put a spanner in the works.
Visitors quickly emptied the BBQ and drunk hundreds of cups of tea whilst perusing the shop, workshop and a selection of scooters built by the Essex boys. Mikey’s race bikes were also on display and a low key dyno shootout raised £200 for a local charity. The Casa SSR 265 Scuderia was also put to good use by thrill seekers and potential customers, thankfully without needing another trip to the paint shop.
