Who would ever have thought we\’d all be ditching our expansion chambers to replace them with big power, practical standard looking exhausts? Malossi have just released details for their own \’big box\’ Power Classic for the Vespa PX 125/150/200 models.
The Power Classic is the latest product to be released by the Italian tuning house, it\’s designed to look and fit as well as a standard exhaust but is said to increase performance across the entire rev range. The good thing about a box style exhaust is that they\’re quieter than a full-on expansion, they don\’t cause issues when changing a rear wheel and generally they last very well. Long expansion pipes can often cause issues with rear wheel access and are prone to cracking in use.

The power Classic is designed and manufactured in Italy and works with both standard or tuned engines.
Price/availability
VE (UK) are the official UK importer, they tell us the Power Classic will retail at £136 when it arrives in September (although you can pre order yours now through VE). The PX 125/150 version has part number VM327791 and the 200 is VM327790.
Would be interesting to see dyno results etc against what malossi offer in a sports exhaust
I would love a comparison, but on something like a stock-ish 125 which is the most common model in use by people.
