These kits are a ‘must have’ item for anyone with a reedvalve kit on their scooter as the offset cones allow the inlet manifold of your engine to sit lower and thus eliminate the possibility of it touching the frame.

Perfect alignment
Offset cones are nothing new, although the RLC cones are the correct width for use with Series 3 wide-type engine mounts. Uniquely, the actual engine bolt also has a flat, recessed side that serves to keep the two cones perfectly aligned and a fixed head on one side so there is no chance of the pin spinning around (and moving the cones within the frame) as the nut is tightened on the opposite side.
RLC released the video above of an engine bolt kit that clearly shows how much difference these make, as can be seen as the engine bolt is rotated to achieve the required position, before being fully tightening.
