SIP have just added four new products to their growing range of Pordoi parts and accessories for modern Vespas. Here’s a brief look at them…
SIP Performance shock
First up is the SIP Performance CNC machined front shock absorber for Vespa GTS models from 2003-2013 then 2017-current. There was an anomaly in 2015-16 with different front shock set up. It’s a fully adjustable shock with pre-load, plus 20-click rebound settings and 9-positon damping. It has an external reservoir, comes in tasty black and has subtle branding. The shock also comes with an adjustment tool. It costs £258 and can be bought here.
Tank cap Series Pordoi
Suitable for all modern Vespas including ET2/ET4/LX/Primavera/Sprint/946/GTS/GT plus Aprilia/Derbi/Gilera/Piaggio models this magnetic CNC alloy fuel filler cap makes a nice styling accessory. The cap comes with a magnetic self-adhesive base plate to stick under the base of your seat so you can stick the cap on there whilst you fill-up. It costs £36.06 and you can get one here.
SIP Pordoi horncover
Whilst building their Pordoi special edition GTS, SIP redesigned the horncover to give a neater, less obtrusive look. They also made a new version of the oblong horncast badge with the SIP logo (that can be bought as an extra) or you can use a Vespa hexagonal badge instead. The horncast costs £73.05.
Pordoi handlebar grips
These high-quality grips are for 22-24mm handlebars so fit most of the modern Vespa range. They’re designed with a waffle pattern (similar to the old Vespa design) and have the SIP logo relieved into the design.
The grips have an oval shape to them for a nicer feel on your hands. They cost £26.82
