Aside from riding their Lambrettas over The Alps to Germany at -10 recently (read about that trip here), those lads at Rimini Lambretta Centre have also been busy developing even more new products. The first of which are these multi-coloured CNC machined carb induction collars. Seen here cheekily poking out of the side of one of their race bikes.
Casa Performance X18F
Designed primarily for the 34 and 39mm Dell’Orto carbs, as fitted to the Casa Performance SS, SSR and Scuderia engines, the X18F can also be easily adapted to fit a lot of other large-bore carbs. Made from Ergal and available in a choice of six different colours, they are a copy of the collars used by the Casa Lambretta Racing Team scooters. Whether or not they provide any more oomph is certainly debatable but as the lads themselves say, they were designed more as a custom part than a performance enhancement – and there’s no denying they certainly look the part.
