Scooter Center started their custom show initially as a gallery for some of the hottest customs on the once-thriving automatic scene in Germany. Their style is often a mixture of bling and drag-race.
Gradually, over the last few years new entries from the automatic side have declined and the classic scooter side has grown to take precedence and to occupy the bigger of the two halls.
The atmosphere in the show was fabulous with people taking the time to hang around and chill rather than rushing in for a ride-out and quickly departing as they do at UK shows. There were trade stands with new product displays from the likes of Pinasco, Casa Lambretta, Parmakit, LTH and Nordspeed on top of Scooter Center\’s own impressive presence.
In terms of the show scooters; the styles were very varied and standards extremely high as you can see in the gallery below. My personal favourite was a Vespa 50 Special from the Spielzimmer (Play Room) guys from Hamburg who not only bought a fantastic display but also their own sitting room set complete with leather sofa and candelabra…
